SCP-1853 is an SCP Item that increases weapon related motor skills (such as weapon reloading or drawing).

Operational Guide

Anabolic-steroid use is not uncommon in athletic competitions. What is uncommon, however, is their use in competitive chess tournaments or collectible trading card games. Yet here we are. 

The perfect superhero drug for all competitive needs, that’s what Prometheus Labs sought to create. They succeeded; It worked…Perhaps a little too well.

In Game

SCP-1853 can be found in Bulletproof Locker №7s around the map, which require a Keycard with both Containment Access 2 and Checkpoint Access

Up to two instances can spawn in a given round.

When the player presses Left Click while having SCP-1853 equipped, they will pour the translucent green liquid onto their left arm. The player will then be given the SCP-1853 Status Effect which causes the following:

• Picking up items is faster by 60%.
• ADS Inaccuracy reduced by 30%.
• 25% reduction in weapon recoil.
• 25% reduction in weapon reload/unload time.
• Entering/Exiting ADS is faster by 20%.
• 20% reducation in draw & usage time for certain items

• Consuming multiple instances of SCP-1853 will cause the effect to stack.
  • With each consumption, the added effects are halved from the previous ones. (ie, a second SCP-1853 will only increase draw speed by an additional 10%, third will be an additional 5%)

If the player drinks SCP-207 while under the effects of SCP-1853, they will be given the Poisoned Damage dealt every 5 seconds. Slowly increases over time.
Damage: 2HP - 20HP Status Effect.

SCP-500 can be used to remove the effects of SCP-1853 (It will also remove SCP-207 and the Poisoned effect).

Related Achievements

• Escaping as a Class-D with at least 2 SCP Items in your inventory grants the Property of the Chaos Insurgency achievement.

• Similar to SCP-2176, SCP-1853 was an idea suggested by a patreon in the official SCP SL Discord that was forwarded to the Game Design team after the Art Manager took a liking to the suggestion.
