SCP-127 is an SCP Item found in SCP Secret Laboratory. SCP-127 is a living gun that regenerates ammo and levels up as the player uses it.
Operational Guide
A living submachine gun which seemingly bonds itself to its wielder. The stronger the bond the more precise and lethal it becomes. Conveniently, killing things seems to be the best way to increase that bond.

In Game
SCP-127 has the functionality of a typical firearm, but cannot be modified at a workstation. Initially, it possesses subpar stats with a mere 25% penetration and 20 damage. SCP-127 does not take usual ammo, instead it regenerates its magazine at a base rate of 2/s. It will also immediately regenerate 15 rounds upon a successful kill or tiering up.
Despite being an SCP object, SCP-127 counts towards the Special Weapons inventory limit.
Hume Shield
When held, SCP-127 will passively generate a Hume Shield for its user. It regenerates at a rate of 3/s up to a base maximum of 25. This shield has a regeneration delay of five seconds after taking damage. When not held for more than three seconds, HS will decay at a rate of 10/s. This Hume Shield will conflict with Artificial HP.
Tiers
As SCP-127 is used, it will gain points towards the next tier and gain increased stats. The following actions result in gaining points:
- Dealing damage with SCP-127.
- The amount of points gained is equivalent to the amount of damage dealt.
- 150 points are awarded for using SCP-127 to kill a player.
- While SCP-127 is held, it passively generates points at a rate of 2/s.
SCP-127 begins at Tier 1 upon initial pickup. SCP-127’s current tier progression is unique to each player, and will retain its current progress until the player dies.

Voicelines
When the player holds SCP-127, it will react to various actions and events. Each action has a list of voicelines associated with it, and one of them will randomly play if that action occurs. The game will prioritize playing lines that have not been played before.
Nearby players can also hear these voicelines.
SCP-127 will not speak if its user is sneak walking.
