Site-02

Site-02, TSRDEC1190292-Lambda-02 (Site Code), is a site located in ███████ and is where SCP: Secret Laboratory takes place. Site-02 seems to have some focus on creating experimental forms of technology in order to improve the Foundation's security. These experimental technologies can include things like powerful weapons to quickly put down an SCP, or an AI security system to help handle emergencies.

Site-02 uses the MM/DD/YY date format for any document they print for local use, while any international printed documents use the DD/MM/YY date format. While Site-02 uses the MM/DD/YY date format that is common in the Americas, it is unknown if that means Site-02 is located in the Americas as its location is redacted, unlike Site-11 and Site-88 which have their shown as being in the Americas.

During a test with SCP-330, it was discovered that the candies possessed anomalous effects that were given to people who consumed the candy. The effects were shown to slowly decay over time. During a test on Halloween, it was discovered the effects became more powerful. Upon consumption of an instance of Pink Candy, Subject D-330-4 immediately ██████████ killing Dr. Andrews and severely damaging SCP-330's chamber. SCP-330 was then relocated to LCZ-TC-01.

C.A.S.S.I.E.

C.A.S.S.I.E. first began operation in March 2008. Initially, it primarily functioned as a simple PA system, although it had limited autonomy to, for example, put out fires or detect a disease outbreak within the site. In the following six years, C.A.S.S.I.E. was continually upgraded, with new and improved systems expanding C.A.S.S.I.E.'s control over the site.

C.A.S.S.I.E.'s present role is to keep the staff of Site-02 safe from a range of emergencies. Such emergencies include containment breaches, fires, Chaos Insurgency attacks or biological threats. If a threat is detected, Site Management will be alerted and C.A.S.S.I.E. will wait for a response. If no response is provided, C.A.S.S.I.E. will act within its capabilities to mitigate or eliminate the threat.

Because of the nature of C.A.S.S.I.E.'s role, several security measures are implemented. C.A.S.S.I.E.'s core is tightly guarded, requiring Level 5 clearance to access and override it. Sources indicate that C.A.S.S.I.E.'s core was last opened in December 2014 for the installation of new upgrades. This restriction means that C.A.S.S.I.E. can't be controlled remotely - with numerous measures in place to prevent hacking or malicious communications.
