In Game
The Mobile Task Force is an in-game depiction of Epsilon-11 (Nine Tailed Fox). The MTF is a military class tasked with recontaining the SCPs and rescuing any Scientists. They spawn on Surface Zone.
The command hierarchy is depicted in game through various MTF squadrons spawning at various times.
C.A.S.S.I.E. will announce when the MTF spawn, mentioning the number of SCPs remaining in the facility. If there are no SCPs left alive, C.A.S.S.I.E. will announce that substantial threats to safety remain within the facility.
Objectives
The primary objective of the MTF is to enter the facility and help extract the Scientists.
Their secondary objectives are to contain all escaped SCPs and neutralizing all the escaped D-Class.
On some servers, D-Class can be dealt with by arresting them after they surrender. This can be done by holding down the E key with any gun, then successfully escorting them to the escape zone on the Surface. Doing so will turn the D-Class into a Nine Tailed Fox Private. It also counts as a Scientist escaping, allowing MTF to win if all the Scientists were killed.
Ranks
The MTF spawn in waves with at least one Captain and three Sergeants, the rest being Privates. Each of these ranks spawn with different gear. MTF Specialist do not spawn during a respawn wave and instead any Scientist that escapes while undisarmed, will become a MTF Specialist.
The items and rank a player has is determined by which MTF type they are. With the higher ranks having the better or stronger items. The order of MTF ranking is as follows: MTF Captain --> MTF Sergeant --> MTF Specialist --> MTF Private. Despite not being MTF, Facility Guards are still consider apart of the ranking system, being placed below MTF Private.
Looking at another player will display text on them that says if you are the same rank, can give them orders, or follow their orders. Orders are purely a roleplay thing and not an actual mechanic.
MTF Captain
The Mobile Task Force Captain is the leader of the MTF squadron, and the highest figure of Foundation authority appearing in the game. His task is to give orders to MTF Specialists, MTF Sergeants, MTF Privates and the Facility Guards.
