Lore

Class-Ds are death row inmates who have been selected by the Foundation to be used as disposable test subjects on SCPs.
Unlike other sites, Site-02 does not hire janitorial staff and soley uses Class-Ds to clean the facility.
Current Class-Ds in Site-02:
D-55240: Jan Kalous, age 32, born in Czech Republic. Arrested for selling poisonous experimental drugs, leading to the death of several hundred people.
D-34910: Charlotte Richer, age 37, born in Paris. Arrested for bank robbery.
D-29640: Kate Norris, age 28, born in England. Arrested for multiple counts of murder.
D-31972: Claudia Meyer, age 28, born in Germany. Arrested for production of substances.
Disclaimer: These are based off a video from 2017 and may be out of date. Though Jan Kalous is the official name for the current Class-D model ingame

In Game

Being released from their cells, the Class-Ds have one sole mission: survive. As such, Class-D personnel must escape the facility, avoiding both SCPs and MTF, and find Chaos Insurgency before the former finds them!

Given no items, Class-Ds are generally considered the most difficult class to play. Class-D players typically scavenge, kill and betray to get out alive.

Class-Ds win along with the Chaos Insurgents after eliminating all NTF and SCPs in the facility.

Class-D must go to the Surface Zone to escape on the Gate B side. Near where Nine Tailed Fox respawn is a door that leads to the escape zone. When a Class-D goes down the ramp they will escape and respawn as a Chaos Insurgent. This will give the Chaos one Respawn Ticket, allowing one more Chaos to spawn during that round.
It should be noted that on some servers, a Class-D that escapes while disarmed will become a Nine Tailed Fox Cadet. This is done by using the Disarmer item.
A disarmed Class-D escaping also gives the Nine Tailed Fox one Respawn Ticket. Allowing one more Nine Tailed Fox to spawn in that round, effectively giving the Nine Tailed Fox two extra teammates that round.
Killing a Class-D does not give the Nine Tailed Fox any tickets.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Strengths:

  • Will be notified if Chaos spawn in via the Chaos theme.
  • More Class-Ds spawn than any other class at the start of the round.

Weaknesses:

  • They lack any actual ability and don't spawn with any items or weapons.
  • Much weaker and less tanky than any other playable class.
  • They tend to be shot on sight by most players.
