"Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-079 is packed away in a double-locked room in the secured general holding area at Site-15, connected by a 120VAC power cord to a small array of batteries and solar panels. Staff with Level 2 or higher clearance may have access to SCP-079. Under no circumstances will SCP-079 be plugged into a phone line, network, or wall outlet. No peripherals or media will be connected or inserted into SCP-079."

In Game

SCP-079 effectively utilizes the facilities security system to navigate and act. There are security cameras around the map that it can use for navigation.

079 uses these camera's to see the room it is in. from these camera's it can interact with electronics in the room.

SCP-079 can change between cameras by Left Clickon the camera icon, WASDkeys or by using Tab to open his ingame map, which one can then Left Clickon a room to move to it instantly.

To look around a room with a camera, move you mouses to the edges of the screen to turn the camera the way you want to move.

By holding down the Spacebar, the camera will be locked to all mouse movement, allowing faster camera movement. Though while holding down Spacebarthe mouse is locked to the center of the screen, making it harder to interact with the facility. The settings on the main menu has an option to make Spacebartoggle between these two camera movement options, allowing one to simply press Spacebaronce to change between them.

SCP-079 can also press Tab to open up a map of the current zone he is in, expect surface. While on the map SCP-079 can see who is alive of each faction in the top left corner.

SCP-079 can Left Clickon any room in the map to instantly travel to it, this cost 7 AP to use.

Abilities

SCP-079 has many abilities he can use to interact with the revilement around him.
These abilities appear as icons on the screen. A Left Clickon these icons SCP-079 can activate that ability.

Changing Zones

SCP-079's map will only show the current zone he is in. For most zones, SCP-079 has to go to an elevator to go to a different zone. This is the same for SCP-049's room and the nuke room. To travel between EZ/HCZ, he only need to travel between the cameras either side of the Checkpoint at no extra AP cost.

Tiers

As SCP-079 uses his abilities he gains a small amount of EXP. If anyone, even a fellow SCP dies near a door that SCP-079 recently interacted with, SCP-079 will gain a lot of EXP. Activating a Telsa Gate also gives a lot of EXP. When SCP-079 gets enough EXP he levels up making him powerful as he gains faster AP regeneration and has a higher max AP.

General Interactions

SCP-079 will gain a small amount of EXP from interacting with things around the facility.

  • SCP-079 gains 1.5 EXP for opening, closing and locking doors.
  • SCP-079 gains 10 EXP for activating a Tesla Gate.
  • SCP-079 gains 12 EXP from locking down a room.

Termination Assist

If SCP-079 kills a player with a Tesla gate or a player dies near a door SCP-079 recently interacted, he will gain a huge amount of EXP

  • SCP-079 gains 60 EXP from Scientist and SCPs
  • SCP-079 35 EXP from D Class
  • SCP-079 30 EXP from Nine Tailed Fox
  • SCP-079 20 EXP from Chaos

Levels

Access level 1:

  • 100 total energy
  • 1.2 energy regen per second
  • Open doors
  • Close doors
  • Lock doors until energy depletes
  • Open/close reinforced doors
  • Cause elevators to move
  • SCP-079 can use the speaker in a specific room to communicate to anyone in that room.

Access level 2:

  • Unlocks at 100 exp
  • 110 total energy
  • 2.5 energy regen per second
  • Can use tier 1 abilities for less energy
  • Can cause the room 079 is currently in to "lock down" for several seconds causing all the doors to lock and the lights to go out.

Access level 3:

  • Unlocks at 150 exp
  • 4.1 energy regen per second
  • 125 max energy

Access level 4:

  • Unlocks at 220 exp
  • 6.8 energy regen per second
  • 150 max energy

Access level 5:

  • Unlocks at 350 exp
  • 11.2 energy regen per second
  • 200 max energy

AP Regen Rate

The rate at which SCP-079 regenerates AP is based on what tier he is and how many generators are on.

In the config_gameplay.txt file, server owners can change the the AP Regen rate SCP-079 has for Tiers 1 - 5 at 0 Generators.
Generators use a multiplier value when increasing the AP rate of SCP-079. The multiplier value can't be changed in the configs.
The first Generator turned on gives a multiplier of 1.2.
So, at Tier 3 with 1 Generator, the AP regen rate would be "4.1 X 1.2" which is 4.92.
So SCP-079 would regenerate 4.92 AP/s at Tier 3 with 1 Generator.

The multiplier for the all of the generators is as follows:

  • 1 Generator - 1.2 multiplier
  • 2 Generators - 1.45 multiplier
  • 3 Generators - 2.05 multiplier
  • 4 Generators - 2.85 multiplier
  • 5 Generators - 5.1 multiplier

Recontainment

SCP-079 can be recontained in three different ways. Activating the Alpha Warhead, turning on the Generators or killing all other SCP subjects.
Generators spawn around the map, exclusive to Heavy Containment Zone. Each generator requires a keycard with Armory Access Tier 2 Armory Access Tier 2 to open and a Weapon Manager Tablet to turn on. It takes about a minute to turn on each generator. Once a generator turns on CASSIE will announce it. It should be noted that each time a generator is turned on, 079 gains AP faster allowing him to use his abilities faster. Once all 5 generators are turned on SCP-079 dies.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Strengths

  • Is immune to any standard attacks
  • Can close doors on humans so SCPs can catch up to them
  • Can use a map to move quickly around a zone
  • Can talk to humans by using speakers found in certain rooms
  • Not affected by SCP-268
  • Each generator turn on makes his AP regenerate faster

Weaknesses

  • Turning on all 5 generators kills him
  • AP recharges slowly at low tiers
  • Easily killed by the Alpha Warhead
  • Automatically dies if all SCP buddies die

Trivia

  • SCP-079's power is referred to as "mana" in the game files, a reference to how Fantasy games manage magic power.
  • Pre rework SCP-079 could be killed in less than a minute if NTF got lucky with the random loot from entrance zone.
  • SCP-079 can communicate using the on-site broadcasting system similar to how it communicated with the player in SCP:CB if they were away from its containment chamber.
