"SCP-018 has the appearance of a Super Ball made by the Wham-O company in 1969. It is six (6) centimeters in diameter and coloured red.SCP-018 was able to bounce with over two hundred percent (200%) efficiency (that is, if dropped one (1) meter, it would bounce two (2), then four (4), then eight (8), then sixteen (16)).The ball soon became a dangerous projectile, reaching speeds estimated at over 100 km/h and damaging property and injuring five (5) in the city of █████████████"

Description

SCP-018 is a usable SCP. Meaning any human player may pick it up and use it for their own benefit.

SCP-018 will spawn in a "containment pedastal" which will spawn in various locations around the map, there is only 1 SCP-018 per game, the object will spawn in the following locations, requiring level 2 containment access on your keycard.

• outside SCP-049's containment chamber.
• Outside SCP-096's contaiment chamber.
• In the MicroHID hallway.
• in a special room next to SCP-012's containment.
• Inside a closet in the vegetation room.
• Inside the alpha warhead control room.
• Heavy Containment zone armoury.
• SCP-939 spawn room, on the walkway.
• the side room at the top of the staircase of SCP-173's containment chamber.

When thrown, SCP-018 will begin the bounce around the room it was thrown in, dealing damage on hit. as it gains momentum it will begin to deal more and more damage. SCP-018 will break glass that it hits, and, at high momentum it will break down doors (Exept for Heavy Containment doors). after (placeholder) number of bounces, the object will leave the map by exploding through a wall.

Uses

• If bounced at a correct angle SCP-018 will bounce level between 2 points. effectively preventing anyone from passing through temporarily, this same effect can be made though an enitre hallway with doors open, or, if the doors are closed it will create a nasty supirse for someone heading in its path.

• SCP-018 could potentially be used to open the door to an armoury if for some reason you cannot use SCP-914, giving you an edge.

• SCP-018 can be used as a croud control weapon, dealing huge ammounts of damage to a sqaud of chaos or NTF

• If somehow used in an elevator, SCP-018 could likely kill everything Human inside.

Trivia

• during development, a placeholder sound was used for the bounding noise the object makes. this was one of the developers saying "reeeee"

• on the SCP-wiki, SCP-018 was planned for use in a super suit, it would allow the user to jump over buildings or kick with unbeleivable force.
