The developers are working on improving the mechanics of SCP-244 based on feedback from the Xmas 2021 Event. Because of this, SCP-244 can only be acquired via Remote Admin.
SCP-244 are 2 Tunisian-style earthenware jars. When uncapped a large, vaporous gas will leak from its mouth and quickly from into a spherical mist around SCP-244. This mist will inflict anyone in it with Hypothermia Player's vision is reduced and inaccuracy is increase.
Hume Shield no longer regens.
Humans take damage over time.. While SCP-244-A spawns inside a Bulletproof Locker SCP-244-B spawns in a random location inside Heavy Containment Zone, making it the only item SCP that spawns outside of the pedestals.
In Game
THE FOLLOWING SECTION IS THE CURRENT MECHANICS OF SCP-244. THESE ARE NOT FINAL AND WILL BE CHANGED WHEN SCP-244 IS FULLY ADDED BACK
SCP-244-A spawns inside of a Bulletproof Locker. SCP-244-B spawns in a random location throughout the Heavy Containment Zone. Besides this and their designs, both objects are entirely identical.
When held, SCP-244 can be manually deployed with Left Click which will place it under the player. SCP-244 can also be activated by being knocked over or thrown, which has a chance of knocking the lid off.
When deployed a large mist will form around SCP-244. When a player is inside the mist they are inflicted with a percentage of Hypothermia Player's vision is reduced and inaccuracy is increase.
Hume Shield no longer regens.
Humans take damage over time., the severity increases the closer the player is to SCP-244 when inside the mist. Due to this, SCP-244 can be used to foil attempts by human players or SCPs to stay put in a location and ambush incoming players as the harmful effects of SCP-244 will slowly begin to harm them.
SCP-244 can be destroyed via explosives.
