When using this template simply type which card you want to darken like so.
{{Keycard|Scientist=_darken}}}
In this example it will darken the scientist keycard but not any other keycards, as shown below

Simply leave a variable out if you dont want to darken it. The point of this template is to easily show what keycards can and cant open a door. Cards that are darken out means it cant open said door.
