From SCP: Secret Laboratory English Official Wiki

SCP: Secret Laboratory uses different types of units to define either length or gameplay mechanics. Some of these units are not found anywhere in-game, and are simply used for easier dev coordination.

Hubes[edit]

A Hube (hu) is a unit of length for objects in-game. It is used for easier dev coordination as Hubes are a nickname for Unity Units. One Unity Unit equals to one Hube. The in-game coordinate systems will list values in Hubes.

Hubes can easily be converted to meters for a more familiar unit of measurement.

Basics[edit]

  • 1 Hube = 0.75 meters
    • hu × 0.75 = m
  • Micro H.I.D. Length - 1.2

    1.6 hubes

    meters
  • Human Height - 1.8

    2.4 hubes

    meters
  • Hallway Length - 15.5

    20.6 hubes

    meters

Speed Values[edit]

939 Vision Range[edit]

The distance of how far SCP-939 can hear sounds. SCP-939 will be able to see anyone on the Surface, regardless of distance.

For reference, one hallway is

15.5 meters.

20.6 hubes

Standing on the Surface results with a 2.3x multiplier on all weapons.
Rifles with suppressors receive a 0.35x multiplier, and pistols with suppressors receive a 0.4x multiplier.

Lisp[edit]

A Lisp is a unit of temperature used for SCP-244.
The term is solely used for dev coordination and does not appear in-game.

One Lisp is defined as one second spent under 100% exposure of SCP-244's fog. Exposure is based on distance to the center of the fog. This effect can stack with multiple SCP-244s, allowing exposure to reach levels such as 200% if the center of both instances of fog overlap and the player is standing in them.

The Lisp unit is dependent on both exposure and time in SCP-244 Fog.
For example: Four Lisp is equal to four seconds under 100% exposure, 16 seconds under 25% exposure, and two seconds under 200% exposure.

The higher the Lisp value, the colder it is, and the faster the HP Drain Rate is for humans.
