The &#039;&#039;&#039;Shotgun&#039;&#039;&#039; (or the &#039;&#039;&#039;Double Barrel Baguette&#039;&#039;&#039; [or simply DBB]) is a type of [[Weapons|Firearm]] in &#039;&#039;SCP: Secret Laboratory&#039;&#039;. It is effective at quickly dispatching nearby targets.&lt;br /&gt;

==In Game==&lt;br /&gt;
The Shotgun fires mini buckshots at players for massive damage. It has a very short damage falloff, making it only effective at close range, but its high damage still allows it to deal some damage from afar (provided the buckshots hit the player).&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The default spray pattern for firing the weapon leans towards the right, although the spread is semi-random. This means it is best to aim near the left of players when engaging at long range. With the Choke Barrel attachment, the spray pattern is no longer random but the overall spread is increased. The Extended Barrel attachment increases penetration and lowers the spread, but makes the spray pattern completely random while also increasing the draw-time. &lt;br /&gt;
&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The Shotgun has a unique firing mechanic compared to other weapons. By pressing {{Key Press|Left Click}}, the player can fire one of its two sears. Firing again when fire the other sear, afterwards the Shotgun will play a pumping animation, during which it can not be fired. This means the player can quickly fire the Shotgun twice in rapid succession before needing to wait for the pump animation to finish before firing again. Pellets will always deal bodyshot damage no matter if they hit the head or limb, and a maximum of eight bullets can hit a single player per shot, making the weapon incapable of killing a player in one hit. &amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
The Shotgun can be equipped with the Double-shot system attachment, which causes both sears to fire at once. This in turn allows the player to kill human players in a single shot.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The Shotgun&#039;s rounds are fairly limited, as only Chaos Marauders spawn with them, and can be found nowhere else within [[Site-02]]. Therefore, the only way to gain more Buckshot rounds is to pick them up from deceased Chaos Insurgents, or using [[SCP-914]].&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Holding down the {{key Press|E}} key on a player with the firearm equipped will disarm the player.&lt;br /&gt;

The Shotgun only has one possible spawn location:&lt;br /&gt;

Due to how the Shotgun works, these values only represent when 8 out of 12 the pellets hit the person. Players hit by more than 8 pellets do not take additional damage. Shotgun ignores headshot and limbshot damage. The Shotgun also has a mechanic where if a player is killed by the Shotgun, any extra pellets will hit players behind them. For example, if a player is low enough to die from two pellets, and get hit by eight pellets. They will only take damage from two pellets, while the remaining pellets will land behind them.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The Double-shot System attachment allows the player to fire both sears at once, increasing the total pellets fired at once. This in turn doubles the damage protentional of the Shotgun.&lt;br /&gt;

=In Game=&lt;br /&gt;
The 3-X Particle  Disruptor is a powerful weapon, capable of shooting only five times before malfunctioning, becoming unusable. The weapon does not shoot immediately, instead, it has a short wind-up animation as it charges up. The firearm will then emit a warning beep before shooting. Afterwards, the player will automatically reload, which takes nine seconds. &amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Aiming through the sights shows a glitched screen displaying a zoomed in view. It has no available attachments.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Instead of bullets, the 3-X Particle Disruptor uses what is referred to as SCP Fusion Ammo (SFA). This is a clear liquid that, when mix with the blue catalyst, creates a chain reaction inside the firearm. After a short delay, the weapon fires a beam that deals 200 damage on direct hit. The beam entirely bypasses [[Armor (Disambiguation)|Armor]], [[Artificial HP]], and [[Hume Shield]] (other effects, like [[SCP-106]]&#039;s damage resistance, still apply). The weapon has an area of effect blast that allows it to still damage targets if a direct hit is missed.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
The beam is capable of destroying doors as well as setting off [[Weapons|Grenades]] and [[SCP-018]] at long range. The weapon also penetrates through glass a couple times, before shattering it.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Terminated targets disintegrate floating upwards instead of falling. The 3-X Particle Disruptor is hitscan in practice, the trail like effect it creates does not need to line up with its targets.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The weapon&#039;s power makes it effective to kill a small group of people, but the long reloading time leaves the player open. Due to the fact that the 3-X PD bypasses a SCP&#039;s Hume Shield, it can be used in dealing permanent damage to a SCP, or possibly kill one on low health. The 3-X Particle Disruptor is also capable of destroying instances of [[SCP-244]] and Tantrum puddles left behind by [[SCP-173]].&lt;br /&gt;

The chain reaction created by the SFA and blue catalyst will eventually become too much for the firearm to handle. After five uses, the weapon will malfunction and the player will drop the weapon on the ground, where it then despawns immediately. SFA is not an obtainable item ingame, unlike other ammo types. &amp;lt;br&amp;gt;The SFA is located inside the weapon&#039;s magazine, while the catalyst is located inside the blue battery on the right side of the firearm.&lt;br /&gt;

The 3-X Particle  Disruptor is a powerful weapon, capable of shooting only five times before malfunctioning, becoming unusable. The weapon does not shoot immediately, instead, it has a short wind-up animation as it charges up. The firearm will then emit a warning beep before shooting. Afterwards, the player will automatically reload, which takes nine seconds. &amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Aiming through the sights shows a glitched screen displaying a zoomed in view. It has no available attachments.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Instead of bullets, the 3-X Particle Disruptor uses what is referred to as SCP Fusion Ammo (SFA). This is a clear liquid that, when mix with the blue catalyst, creates a chain reaction inside the firearm. After a short delay, the weapon fires a beam that deals 200 damage on direct hit. The beam entirely bypasses [[Armor (Disambiguation)|Armor]], [[Artificial HP]], and [[Hume Shield]] (other effects, like [[SCP-106]]&#039;s damage resistance, still apply). The weapon has an area of effect blast that allows it to still damage targets if a direct hit is missed.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
The beam is capable of destroying doors as well as setting off [[Weapons|Grenades]] and [[SCP-018]] at long range. The weapon also penetrates through glass a couple times, before shattering it.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Terminated targets disintegrate floating upwards instead of falling. The 3-X Particle Disruptor is hitscan in practice, the trail like effect it creates does not need to line up with its targets.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The weapon&#039;s power makes it effective to kill a small group of people, but the long reloading time leaves the player open. Due to the fact that the 3-X PD bypasses a SCP&#039;s Hume Shield, it can be used in dealing permanent damage to a SCP, or possibly kill one on low health. The 3-X Particle Disruptor is also capable of destroying instances of [[SCP-244]] and Tantrum puddles left behind by [[SCP-173]].&lt;br /&gt;

The chain reaction created by the SFA and blue catalyst will eventually become too much for the firearm to handle. After five uses, the weapon will malfunction and the player will drop the weapon on the ground, where it then despawns immediately. SFA is not an obtainable item ingame, unlike other ammo types. &amp;lt;br&amp;gt;The SFA is located inside the weapon&#039;s magazine, while the catalyst is located inside the blue battery on the right side of the firearm.&lt;br /&gt;
