SCP-2536 was an Event SCP introduced in the Christmas 2020/2021 update. It is an anomalous, teleporting Christmas tree that will try to give players an item they may need.
__TOC__
In-Game
SCP-2536 will start spawning 60 seconds after the start of the round. When SCP-2536 is ready to spawn in, it will randomly pick which team it wants to spawn near: Class-D, Scientist, Facility Guard or MTF, with a 25% for each of them. After choosing a team. SCP-2536 will then spawn near a random player on that team. Music will begin playing to alert the player of SCP-2536 and three presents will also spawn with it. These presents can be opened by anyone and the loot in them is chosen when a player opens the present. The game uses a ticket system to determine what item a player will get. This works by the game seeing what situation a player is in, such as health or what items they have. The game then generates a type of ticket based on those situations. Once all of them are generated, the game checks what type of ticket was generated the most, then gives the player the loot that corresponds to that ticket. After awhile, SCP-2536 will disappear for a short time before starting the process over again.
SCP-2536 will not choose the same target more than once in a given round.

Coal
Coal is an item that can be found in SCP-2536. The game will always give the player at least one ticket towards Coal when opening up a present, but due to the fact it only gives one ticket. The chances of getting coal is extremely unlikely. If the player is a Chaos Insurgent they will be given 20 tickets towards Coal instead. Causing Chaos to always get Coal no matter what. This is due to the fact SCP-2536 does not consider Chaos Insurgency to be Foundation Personnel. Coal can be thrown at players, upon which it crumbles apart.

Loot Information
SCP-2536 uses a ticket system to determine what it shall give to a player when a present is open. When the player opens a present, the item that got the most tickets will be the item chosen. The player can never get duplicate items calls in one go. So if a player opened a present and got Keycard Upgrade, the next present they open will not give them Keycard Upgrade and instead will give them what ever item has the 2nd highest ticket count. The ticket system is per player and not global, so other players can still get the Keycard Upgrade if someone else already got it from one of the other two presents. Once SCP-2536 leaves, everything resets, allowing a player to get the same item once again if they can find SCP-2536. The items in presents are chosen when the player opens the presents and NOT when SCP-2536 spawns.
There are 12 different types of tickets.
# ● Keycard Upgrade; a random keycard in the player's inventory is upgraded
# ● COM-15; 5% Chance for 3-X Molecular Disruptor instead.
# ● Gun Upgrade; + 3 Mags of appropriate ammo, 5% Chance for 3-X Molecular Disruptor.
# ● x100 7.62 Ammo
# ● First Aid Kit
# ● High-Explosive Grenade
# ● Micro H.I.D. Recharge
# ● Sergeant Keycard
# ● Flashbang Grenade
# ● Adrenaline
# ● SCP-207
# ● Coal

Below is a table showing the situations a player is in, and how many tickets it will give, organized so that the uppermost fulfilled condition in the table will lead to the outcome observed by the player.
*SCP-2536 was the first non-series 1 SCP to be added to SCP: Secret Laboratory.
*In the 2021 Christmas event, it was originally planned that SCPs could open presents from SCP-2536. These gifts were mostly useless, and only for comedic effect.
**This was later scrapped before the update released.
Lore
"SCP-096 is a humanoid creature measuring approximately 2.38 meters in height. Subject shows very little muscle mass, with preliminary analysis of body mass suggesting mild malnutrition. Arms are grossly out of proportion with the rest of the subject's body, with an approximate length of 1.5 meters each. Skin is mostly devoid of pigmentation, with no sign of any body hair."

"SCP-096 is normally extremely docile, with pressure sensors inside its cell indicating it spends most of the day pacing by the eastern wall. However, when someone views SCP-096's face, whether it be directly, via video recording, or even a photograph, it will enter a stage of considerable emotional distress. SCP-096 will cover its face with its hands and begin screaming, crying, and babbling incoherently. Approximately one (1) to two (2) minutes after the first viewing, SCP-096 will begin running to the person who viewed its face (who will from this point on be referred to as SCP-096-1)."

"Upon arriving at SCP-096-1's location, SCP-096 will proceed to kill and [DATA EXPUNGED] SCP-096-1. 100% of cases have left no traces of SCP-096-1. SCP-096 will then sit down for several minutes before regaining its composure and becoming docile once again. It will then attempt to make its way back to its natural habitat, [DATA REDACTED]."

- Extracts from Official Wiki Page

In Game
SCP-096 spawns in Heavy Containment in its docile state, pacing slowly around the hallways. SCP-096 has a very audible cry that can warn players of its position.
While docile, SCP-096 can hold Rightclick on a closed door to lean up against it. Doing so SCP-096 will cry very quietly to the point of being almost silent.
When a player opens the door, they will view SCP-096's face and trigger him.

SCP-096 begins the game with 500 HP and 250 Hume Shield. The Hume Shield acts like Artificial HP, absorbing all damage SCP-096 takes.
Each active target SCP-096 has will increase his Hume Shield by 250.
There is no upper limit to the Hume Shield, meaning that SCP-096 could theoretically gain infinite AHP.
Once SCP-096's rage wears off, his Hume Shield returns to 250.
If SCP-096 takes no damage for 10 seconds, its Hume Shield will slowly regenerate.

SCP-096 will enter an enrage state when his face is looked at or when shot at. SCP-096 will stand still and charge up before entering his enrage state after being triggered.

Everyone who looked at SCP-096 or shot him will become a target. SCP-096 will stay in enrage mode for a base 15 seconds, plus an extra 3 seconds for each additional target. Targets are made visible by markers only visible to SCP-096 (even targets wearing SCP-268 will be visible).

While enraged SCP-096 can do the following:
* Perform an AOE attack with Leftclick that will instantly kill any of his targets and deal damage to anyone who got hit by it that wasn't a target.
* Jump very high
* Perform a charge attack with Rightclick that last 0.8s and causes SCP-096 to run at 25 m/s.
**This attack can be used to cause SCP-096 leap over large gaps
**If SCP-096 charges at a closed gate, he will force the gate open and go through it. The gate then quickly closes behind him. SCP-096 can't force open the gate on the Surface Zone
**The charge attack has a cooldown after being used. Charging through a gate will force the cooldown to end.
* Leftclick on doors to destroy them while enraged.

After enrage state ends, SCP-096 will stop moving for a couple seconds and calm down. SCP-096 will then enter a short cooldown phase before he can enrage again.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Strengths:
* Has multiple abilities that makes it very difficult for targets to escape in most circumstances
* Can access targets behind gates
* High mobility while enraged
* Incredibly resistant to small amounts of damage due to Hume Shield
* Can have incredibly high effective HP with multiple targets
Weaknesses:
* Incredibly vulnerable when not close to other SCPs
* Little synergy with SCP-079
* Is an easy target to hit while charging up or docile
* Enemies are able to manipulate when 096 starts to enrage
* Has low mobility and no attack outside of rage
* Small health pool without multiple levels of Hume Shield
* Vulnerable to burst damage weapons such as the Logicer, MicroHID and frag grenades when not enraged
* People can easily wait out his rage with elevators

Related Achievements
Disarmers are handheld devices which allow players to instantly disarm and handcuff opposing players within a close range.

If the player is in a close range and is not holding Shift, players can Left Clickto disarm them. Disarmed players will drop their inventory and cannot pick up items nor interact with doors. The disarmer will also display the distance from the cuffed player with a status bar.

Players can only disarm one player at one time.

A player holding any item may not be disarmed.

Disarmed players will automatically be uncuffed if they move to another zone, unless if the player who cuffed them is also in the elevator. The player can also be uncuffed by another player. To uncuff a cuffed player, hold the Ekey while looking at them.
Keycards are items which allow the player to access different parts of the facility. All keycards have a distinct color and can be identified from a distance.

Keycards are essential if a player wants to go anywhere in the facility, as checkpoints, gates, containment chambers, and certain doors and lockers require them to enter.

There are currently 12 keycards ingame.

When hovering over a keycard in your inventory, a small group of squares are shown. These represent what the keycard can or cannot unlock, known as its access tier. Normally lit squares mean the keycard has the access tier, while dark squares mean that it doesn't.

Keycards must be equipped to be used. To equip a keycard, open your inventory by pressing Tab, then select the keycard with Left Click. Then go up to a door that requires a keycard and press E.
